Christopher Powers

Christopher Powers has a diverse work experience in the engineering and defense sectors. Christopher is currently employed as a Program Manager at Veraxx Engineering Corporation. Prior to this, they worked at Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) from 2015 to 2022. At NAVAIR, they held various roles, including International Training Lead in the Security Cooperation Program Office, NAVAIR Rotorcraft Principal DAPML, and Program Manager for Presidential Helicopter Training Systems.

Before joining NAVAIR, Powers worked at PMA-275 as the V-22 Joint Development Deputy IPT Lead from 2014 to 2015. From 2011 to 2014, they served as a Program Manager for V-22 Training Systems at NAVAIR.

Christopher'searlier experience includes serving as the Aviation Program Director at USMC Expeditionary Warfare School from 2009 to 2011, and as the CH-53K ASPO/Mission Systems Program Manager at PMA-261 from 2006 to 2009. Powers began their career in the USMC, where they held positions such as Aircraft Maintenance Officer at HMH-461 and Squadron Operations Officer at HMT 302 from 2004 to 2006.

Christopher Powers attended The Ohio State University from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Criminology. Prior to that, they studied at Columbus State in 1990 and 1991, but it is not specified whether they earned a degree or field of study during this time. In addition to their formal education, Christopher Powers has a certification as a DAU Level III Program Manager from the Department of Defense, although the exact date of obtaining this certification is unknown.
