Thomas Zapf

Thomas Zapf serves as the Director of Digital, Information Security, IT, and Telecom at Verbund since May 2019. With extensive experience in various leadership roles, Thomas has held supervisory board positions for several international companies since April 2015. Prior to this, Thomas was the Managing Director and CIO at Styria Media Group AG from March 2013 to April 2019. Additional roles include Chief Information Officer at Sulzer, Director of IT Group at AE&E Group GmbH, Head of IT Infrastructure and Operations at Magna Steyr, Director of IT at Austrian Energy & Environment, and Head of SAP at Magna Steyr from October 1999 to April 2004. Thomas Zapf holds an Ing. degree in Electronics Engineering and Organisation from BULME Graz, completed between 1992 and 1994.
