Michael Novotny

Michael Novotny is the Director of Developer Experience at Vercel. Michael has over fifteen years of experience in software development and IT management. Prior to joining Vercel, they were the Software Engineering Manager at Hy-Vee, Inc. for six months. Michael has also held positions as a Senior Developer at Influent Solutions and a Software Engineer at WebFilings. Michael started their career as an IT Application Associate at Principal Financial Group in 2001.

Novotny has a passion for developing software that makes a difference in people’s lives. Michael believes that technology should be used to empower people and make their lives better. Michael is committed to making the Vercel platform the best place for developers to build and deploy their applications.

Michael Novotny's educational career began with him earning an Associates of Applied Science in Computer Programming / Analysis from Indian Hills Community College. Michael then went on to earn a Diploma in College Preparatory from Central City High School.

Michael Novotny reports to Lee Robinson, VP, Developer Experience.
