Nyasha Gopo

Nyasha Gopo has a strong background in financial planning and analysis, as well as mergers and acquisitions. They started their career at Ernst & Young in 2005, where they worked in transaction advisory services, helping clients make informed decisions about managing capital and transactions. They then joined Cherry Bekaert LLP in 2013, specializing in transaction advisory services for buy-side and sell-side engagements. In 2015, they moved to RSM US LLP, where they continued their work in transaction advisory services. In 2018, they joined BDO USA, LLP as a Senior Manager, focusing on finance and mergers and acquisitions. Currently, they hold the role of Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis and M&A at Verdantas. Overall, Nyasha Gopo has a wealth of experience in finance and M&A across multiple companies.

Nyasha Gopo completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Financial Accounting from the University of Cape Town in 2001-2003. In 2004, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting at the same university. Additionally, Nyasha holds a certification as a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
