Maria Gomez

Maria Gomez is an experienced professional with a strong focus on sustainability, civic engagement, and community empowerment. Currently serving as a Producer for the Fair, Green and Global (FGG) Alliance, Maria leads initiatives that amplify the voices of communities worldwide. With a background in producing hackathons and facilitating training programs on climate justice for Milieudefensie, Maria also holds board membership with The Stories of Love Movement, supporting young students in Colombia. Previous roles include strategy and impact officer at Hivos, project manager at Che Amigo Foundation, and general manager at Lola Lik, where Maria fostered integration for refugees. Maria's academic credentials include an MBA in Strategy and Organization specialized in sustainability management from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, along with advanced language qualifications in Spanish and English.
