Richard Bard

Richard Bard has over two decades of experience in the wildlife and conservation field. Richard began their career in 1994 as a Zookeeper for the Wildlife Conservation Society. In 1998, they moved to the Audubon Nature Institute as an Animal Manager. In 2001, they took on the role of Wildlife Technician for the Arizona Game and Fish Department. In 2004, they became a Biologist for the State of Maine. In 2014, they were appointed Executive Director of the Downeast Coastal Conservancy. In 2017, they joined the Scarborough Land Trust as Executive Director. Most recently, in 2020, they were hired as Business Operations Manager for Verica.

Richard Bard obtained a BS in Animal Science/Natural Resources from Cornell University in 1993. Richard then obtained a Business Analytics Certificate from Cornell University in December 2021.
