Jason Ayers

Jason Ayers has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in different companies. Jason is currently working as the VP Data Governance at Vericast since September 2023. Prior to this, they served in the U.S. Army Reserve and Army National Guard as a U.S. Army Reservist from August 2022 to September 2023. Jason also worked at Vericast previously, where they held the position of VP Chief Information Security Officer from May 2020 to August 2022. Before that, they worked at Harland Clarke, where they held multiple roles including Exec Director Technology Compliance, Risk, Audit from December 2017 to May 2020, Director IT Asset Optimization from May 2015 to December 2017, and Senior Manager IT Business Alignment from December 2014 to May 2015. Jason also served in the U.S. Army Reserve and Army National Guard as a U.S. Army Reservist from January 2014 to December 2014. Prior to that, they worked at Harland Clarke as a Senior Manager IT Business Alignment from October 2010 to January 2014, Information Technology Business Services Manager from October 2005 to October 2010, and Senior IT Business Integration Analyst from February 2005 to October 2005. In addition, Jason served in the U.S. Army Reserve and Army National Guard from December 2003 to February 2005. Jason also worked at Harland Clarke (Clarke American) as a Senior IT Business Integration Analyst from January 2002 to December 2003, Systems Engineer from May 2000 to January 2002, Client Systems Specialist from June 1999 to May 2000, and Automated Order Entry Specialist from April 1998 to June 1999. Lastly, Jason started their career at DocuCorp International as a Client Support Analyst from May 1996 to April 1998.

Jason Ayers attended Texas A&M University from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (BBA). In addition to their degree, they obtained several certifications throughout their career in various fields such as ethical hacking, incident handling, information systems security, and IT service management. These certifications include C|EH Certified Ethical Hacker from EC-Council in 2016, GCIH GIAC Certified Incident Handler from SANS Institute in 2014, CISSP Certified Information Systems Security Professional from (ISC)² in 2013, Security+ from CompTIA in 2011, and ITIL V3 IT Service Management and IT Service Lifecycle from Pink Elephant in 2008.
