John Transier

John Transier, CPA has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. John began their career in 1985 as a Senior Field Accounting Coordinator at Mobil Oil Corporation. John then worked at Hewlett-Packard Co. as a Director - Finance and Accounting, where they developed and implemented strategies for the Americas Controllership organization.

John later joined Travelport, Inc, a travel and hospitality company, where they held the roles of Group Vice President, Finance, and Vice President and CFO of Supplier Services. In these positions, they led the finance and operations transformation, managed financial reporting, and ensured compliance with internal and external GAAP reporting standards.

John then worked at Unilever, a fast-moving consumer products company, as the Vice President of Finance. In this role, they managed embedded risk management and corporate compliance, including simplification of the Code of Business Principles.

John later joined BD, a medical device/life sciences company, as the Assistant Corporate Controller. John was responsible for global financial consolidation and reporting, policy and guidance setting, and finance systems strategy.

Before their current role at Vericast as Senior Vice President, Finance, John was a Senior Vice President of Finance at Harland Clarke, where they oversaw financial operations and reporting.

Throughout their career, John has gained experience in various aspects of finance and accounting, including financial planning, internal audit, process improvement, and implementation of accounting policies.

John Transier, CPA earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Texas State University in 1985. John then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Economics from Southern Methodist University, completing it in 1993.
