Radu Ionescu

Radu Ionescu has held a variety of positions in the field of computer science since 2010. From 2010 to 2011, they were an iOS Developer at Cronian Labs and Housatonic Software. In 2011, they began working at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, University of Bucharest, where they held the roles of Professor, Associate Professor, Lecturer, and PhD. Researcher. In 2012, they began working at Sparktech Software LLC as an iOS Developer and Machine Learning Engineer, developing iOS applications and designing and implementing machine learning algorithms. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Visiting Research Fellow at The University of Edinburgh and IRIT (Institut de Recherche en Informatique de Toulouse). In 2016, they co-founded SecurifAI and became the CTO. In 2017, they joined Veridium as a Machine Learning Team Lead. In 2018, they became a Research Scientist at the Inception Institute of Artificial Intelligence.

Radu Ionescu completed their education history at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, University of Bucharest, starting in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, followed by a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence in 2009, and concluding with a Doctor of Philosophy in Artificial Intelligence in 2013.
