Ave-Liis Saluveer

Ave-Liis Saluveer has a strong background in law and legal operations. Ave-Liis currently works at Veriff, where they serve as the Legal Operations Lead. Prior to this role, they were the Contract Management Team Lead and a Commercial Lawyer at Veriff. Before joining Veriff, they co-founded Koolimaja, an online video classes platform. Ave-Liis also gained valuable experience at Telia as a Lawyer, focusing on areas such as sourcing, TV content, and intellectual property law. Ave-Liis was involved in automating sourcing agreement template creation and was a member of various legal practice groups. Ave-Liis has also worked as an Associate at Law Firm GLIMSTEDT / PwC Legal, a Legal Counsel at Estonian Public Broadcasting, and a Legal Counsel / Public Procurement Specialist at the Ministry of the Environment of the Republic of Estonia. Ave-Liis started their legal career as a Trainee at Law Firm GLIMSTEDT, where they gained practical experience.

Ave-Liis Saluveer completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Music Production and Digital Media at Canterbury Christ Church University in 2009. Ave-Liis then pursued their Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree in European Union, International, and Comparative Law at TalTech - Tallinn University of Technology from 2009 to 2012. Afterwards, they obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in European Business Law from Lund University in 2014. Additionally, in 2013, they also earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Intellectual Property Law from Stockholm University.
