Jarren Wenderlein Sternburg

Jarren Wenderlein Sternburg has had a diverse range of work experience in the legal field. They began their career as a Legal Consultant at Schneider Electric and then worked as an Attorney at the Texas Department of Insurance. After that, they served as a Senior Technology Licensing Manager at The University of Texas at Austin and as a Senior Legal Consultant at Dell. They then transitioned to roles at law firms, working as an Attorney at DLA Piper and later as a Corporate Counsel at Gemalto. They then moved into in-house legal roles at technology companies, including New Relic, Inc. as a Legal Counsel, Commercial and Alation as a Director, Sr. Legal Counsel. Most recently, they were a Sr. Legal Counsel at Twilio Inc. Currently, Jarren is serving as the Head of US Commercial Legal at Veriff. Their work experience demonstrates a strong background in commercial law and a career focused on supporting technology and data-driven companies.

Jarren Wenderlein Sternburg holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from The University of Texas School of Law. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and History from The University of Texas at Austin. Jarren also has an MBA from the Texas McCombs School of Business. In 2022, they obtained the Certified Information Privacy Professional - United States (CIPP/US) certification from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals.
