Nicholas Vandrey

Nicholas Vandrey has a strong background in data engineering and business intelligence. Nicholas is currently working as the Data Engineering Team Lead at Veriff since July 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Data Warehouse Team Lead from July 2021 to July 2023 and as the Business Intelligence Team Lead from May 2019 to July 2021, both at Veriff. Before joining Veriff, they worked as a Data Engineer at the same company from February 2019 to May 2019. Nicholas also has experience at Funderbeam, where they served as the Head of Data Product from May 2016 to February 2019 and as an Analyst from March 2014 to April 2016. Nicholas started their professional journey at FinanceEstonia as an Intern from November 2013 to March 2014.

Nicholas Vandrey completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business and Economics from the University of Tartu, where they attended from 2011 to 2014. In addition, they have obtained various certifications in machine learning and deep neural networks from Coursera, including Convolutional Neural Networks, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, and Machine Learning in the years 2016 to 2018.
