Masrur Mahmood

Masrur Mahmood is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and team management, currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Verily. Prior to this, Masrur was the Head of Software Engineering at Cloud DX, where responsibilities included building diverse engineering teams and fostering a culture of transparency and accountability. Previous roles include Senior Engineering Manager at Splunk, Development Manager and Technical Architect at LABORIE, and various embedded systems engineering positions at companies such as Johnson Controls, Smiths Detection, CPI, Thales Railway Solutions, Research In Motion, and Dofasco Inc. Masrur holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from McMaster University, completed in 2007.
