Dr. Istvan Zatik

Dr. Istvan Zatik has a diverse and extensive work experience in the medical field. Dr. Istvan has worked as an Associate Director of Medical Affairs at Veristat since 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Physician on duty for week-end and overnight services at Diverse Hospitals starting in 2014. Dr. Istvan also worked as a Senior Safety Physician at Eudrac GmbH from 2021 to 2022. At ERGOMED PLC, they held the positions of Head Medical Monitoring from 2018 to 2021 and Medical Monitor & Study Physician from 2016 to 2021. Dr. Zatik has also worked as a Global Clinical Project Manager at Biologische Heilmittel Heel GmbH from 2010 to 2016, where they gained significant experience in clinical research and managing international trials. Other roles in their career include Project Manager of Clinical Operations at Ecron Acunova in 2010 and roles as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA), Lead CRA, and Project Manager at ICON Clinical Research from 2001 to 2009. Dr. Istvan started their career as a Trauma Surgeon and University Lecturer at Medical University Debrecen from 1991 to 2001.

Dr. Istvan Zatik obtained their M.D. degree in Medicine from Debreceni Egyetem in 1991. Dr. Istvan later pursued further specialization in Trauma and Emergency Medicine, earning a Specialist degree from Semmelweis University between 1991 and 1996.
