Olof Rännbäck-Garpinger

Olof Rännbäck-Garpinger has extensive work experience in the field of data science and analysis. Olof is currently working at Verisure as a Senior Data Scientist and ML/DS Chapter Lead, where they have been in various roles since 2019. Prior to this, Olof worked at Knightec AB as a Data Scientist, where they developed a split time recommender for the Swedish cross-country ski classic, Vasaloppet. Olof also shared their data science skills at various events and wrote an article on data science for Knightec's website. Before that, Olof worked as a Control and Data Analysis Consultant at Alten Sweden, where they analyzed and controlled a Friction Stir Welding process for the Swedish Nuclear Fuel and Waste Management Company. Olof also worked as a Researcher and Ph.D. Student at Lund University, focusing on optimal PID controller design and publishing their research on the topic. Olof has a strong background in mathematics and has consistently demonstrated expertise in their field throughout their career.

Olof Rännbäck-Garpinger's education history includes a Doctor of Technology degree in Automatic Control from the Faculty of Engineering at Lund University (2012-2015), a Tech. Lic. degree in Automatic Control from the same institution (2005-2009), and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Engineering Physics from the same institution (1999-2005).
