Ángela Gómez Dávila

Ángela Gómez Dávila has worked in a variety of roles since 2014. From 2014-2015, they were a Pasante at AGROSAVIA - Corporación colombiana de investigación agropecuaria, where they participated in the preformulation stage for the development of a biopesticide based on entomopathogenic fungi. Ángela also implemented a more efficient technique for the massive collection of entomopathogenic fungi. From 2015-2016, they worked at Ardila Constructores cia Ltda. as both a Consultora ambiental and an Auxiliar ambiental, where they developed and implemented a strategy for the correct disposal of waste generated by the work, as well as generating awareness among workers of the importance of separating and storing waste. From 2016-2017, they worked as an Asistente Financiera for a professional independent/consultancy. Finally, from 2019 to present, they have worked at Veritas Intercontinental as both a Partnership Manager, Latam and an Office & Project Manager.

Ángela Gómez Dávila completed a degree in Bióloga from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana between 2010 and 2015, a degree in Microbióloga Industrial from the same institution between 2008 and 2015, and an Especialista en Gerencia Financiera from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in 2020. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Sistema de gestión ambiental y social: una oportunidad de negocio from Instituto Interamericano para el Desarrollo Económico y Social (INDES) in 2018, Auditor Interno de Medio Ambiente ISO 14001:2015 from Bureau Veritas Formación in 2018, Herramientas de gestión, reporting y auditoría de la responsabilidad corporativa from Bureau Veritas Formación in 2018, and Fundamentos del cambio climático from Instituto Interamericano para el Desarrollo Económico y Social (INDES) in 2016.
