Barry Stafford Fcpa

Barry Stafford FCPA has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Barry started their career as a Trainee Accountant at Francis Brophy & Company Chartered Accountants and worked their way up to become an Audit Senior. Later, they joined Smith Property Management as a Financial Controller/Manager, where they managed a team and oversaw the financial operations of over 110 company accounts. Barry then joined Yahoo! as the EMEA General Accounting Manager, leading a team responsible for US GAAP accounting of 30 EMEA legal entities and managing external audits. Barry also played a key role in designing and implementing global intercompany accounting systems. After their time at Yahoo!, Barry worked at EY as Manager of the Global Reporting Center of Excellence. Barry then moved to Veritas Technologies LLC, where they held various roles, including Senior Finance Manager Global Channel Finance, Global Finance Director (FP&A), and currently serves as the Senior Director of Finance. In their current position, they have been involved in standardizing accounting aspects for channel programs and implementing SOX policies and controls. Additionally, Barry briefly served as the Director of Finance at Kingspan Light + Air before joining Veritas Technologies LLC. Overall, Barry Stafford FCPA has extensive expertise in financial management, accounting, and team leadership.

Barry Stafford FCPA attended Griffith College Dublin from 2002 to 2007, where they obtained a CPA degree in Accountancy. In 2022, they also obtained a certification in Effective Mentoring Practices from CPA Ireland.
