Matt Waxman

Matt Waxman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Matt currently holds the position of SVP and General Manager of Data Protection at Veritas Technologies LLC since July 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Cohesity as the Chief Solutions Officer from June 2022 to July 2023, and as the Head of Product from May 2020 to June 2022. Before Cohesity, Matt was the Head of Product at Puppet from October 2017 to May 2020.

Matt also had a long tenure at Dell EMC, starting in March 2014 as the Vice President of Product Management for Data Protection. In this role, they managed a portfolio of products generating over $4 billion in annual revenues. Matt also held various other positions at Dell EMC, including Senior Director of Product and Program Management and Director of Software Engineering.

Before joining Dell EMC, Matt had roles at Digital Equipment Corp and Compaq Computer/Hewlett Packard as a Software Engineer. Overall, Matt Waxman has extensive experience in product management and software engineering in the technology industry.

Matt Waxman earned their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Clark University in 1998. Matt later pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration from the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University, which they completed in 2005.
