Terrence Lai

Terrence Lai has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Terrence began their career as a Senior Web Designer at WorldRemind Pte Ltd in 2000, and later worked as a Pre-sales & Support Engineer and Web & UI Designer at Welcome Real-time. In 2003, they joined Comfort Delgro / CityCab Pte Ltd as a Web Designer. From 2004 to 2007, Terrence served as the Web & Graphics Manager at New Era Entertainment, where they managed a design team and worked with renowned game publishers.

In 2007, Terrence joined Shepard Pte Ltd as Business Development/Consultancy/CTO, where they provided pre-sales consultancy and built customer relationships. Terrence also worked on solutions architecting and design, project management, and pre-sales and post-sales delivery for various information management and security products.

In 2012, Terrence joined Symantec as a Senior Consultant, Emerging Solutions Lead and later became a Consulting Services Manager. Terrence also served as the Head of APJ Strategy & Programs, Technology Sales & Services (VERITAS) at Symantec.

In 2015, Terrence joined Veritas Technologies LLC as a Manager, APJ Operations & Programs - Technical Sales & Global Services. Terrence later became the Senior Manager, APJ TSS Operations & Programs/Backup Exec & vTSS SE Team. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Manager, International Geo, SE Operations & Programs & vTS SE team at Veritas Technologies LLC. In this role, they are responsible for running productive and effective SE teams, executing sales-driven programs, and driving business growth for the company.

Terrence Lai obtained their GCE 'O' Levels from Montfort School in 1995. Terrence then pursued their GCE 'A' Levels at Serangoon Junior College from 1996 to 1997, focusing on Computing, Physics, and Mathematics. From 1999 to 2003, Terrence attended NCC/Informatics and earned an Advanced Diploma in Computing.
