Ita Murray McIps

Ita Murray MCIPS is an experienced professional in procurement and business development, currently serving as the Business Development and Strategic Planning Manager at Verizon since June 2022. Previously, Ita held the position of Global Category Group Manager at Aptiv from January 2020 to May 2022, where the focus was on mobility solutions. Prior to that, Ita was the Head of Procurement for MetLife in Europe from January 2016 to October 2019, and the Head of Procurement at Topaz Energy Ltd from April 2007 to January 2016. Ita also gained significant experience in procurement roles at HOCHTIEF Facility Management Ireland Ltd, Property Care Services (Thailand) ltd, Purchasing Solutions Ltd, and Ulster Bank. Educational qualifications include an MCIPS from the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply, a Diploma in Purchasing and Materials Management from the Irish Institute of Purchasing and Materials Management, and a B.Sc. (Hons) in Financial Economics from Birkbeck, University of London.
