Pete Beck

Pete Beck is a seasoned professional with over three decades of experience in learning technology and business strategy, currently serving as the Sr. Director of Global Learning Technology at Verizon since February 1989. In this leadership role, Pete drives innovation and oversees a team dedicated to enhancing learning platforms for Verizon's global enterprise. Previous positions at Verizon include Director of Learning Technology & Operations, where Pete developed and executed strategies for learning technology, and Associate Director of Learning Technology, responsible for implementing e-learning curricula for over 65,000 employees. Early in their career, Pete worked at Metromedia Paging Systems Corp as an Account Executive in sales and government sales. Pete holds a Certificate of Completion in Interactive Media and Computer Graphics from Pratt Institute, earned between 1996 and 1998.
