Björn Johannessen

Björn Johannessen is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in construction and engineering. Since February 2004, Björn has been with Verkís Consulting Engineers, serving as a project manager and construction manager for significant projects, including a new Billet Casthouse and Dross Building at Norðurál aluminium Smelter in Iceland. Prior to this role, Björn was the head of projects at HRV Oil & Gas AS from August 2012 to June 2013 and worked as a section manager at ABV Rock Group KB from April 1990 to February 2004, where Björn led a multidisciplinary design task group focused on underground oil storage facilities. Björn holds a Cand Agric degree in Landscape Architecture from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences, obtained between 1976 and 1980.
