Oyewale Oyelami

Oyewale Oyelami has a strong background in software engineering and development. Oyewale started their career as a Software Developer at CareMedica Systems in 2012, where they worked on core modules of electronic health record systems and implemented customization requests from clients. In 2014, they moved to E-Settlement Limited, where they were responsible for implementing the backend infrastructure of the payment platform PAYPAD and developing web payment plugins.

In 2017, Oyewale became a Research Assistant at Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg, and in 2018, they joined Vivy as a Backend Engineer. At Vivy, they developed a custom tool for code-style validation and backup serverless services. Oyewale also worked on refactoring services using Java, Spring Boot, Python, Docker, and AWS.

In 2018, Oyewale joined Volkswagen AG as a Masterand, where they worked on their master's thesis, focusing on the quality assurance of the containerization process. Oyewale utilized technologies and tools such as Docker, Maven, Git, AWS, and Kubernetes.

Oyewale continued their career at Kuehne + Nagel in 2019 as a Software Engineer, focusing on software development. In 2021, they became the Engineering Lead at Dot, where they led engineering teams.

Currently, Oyewale is working at ImmoScout24 as a Senior Software Engineer since 2022. Overall, their experience spans various roles, including software engineering, development, and leadership, and they have expertise in technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Python, Docker, and AWS.

Oyewale Oyelami completed their education with a focus on engineering and digital technology. Oyewale obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, attending from 2007 to 2012. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Digital Engineering at Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg from 2017 to 2019.
