Carrie Hoover has held various roles throughout their work experience. Carrie started their career as an International Business Liaison Intern at the Ohio Department of Development in 1999. Carrie then worked as a Project Specialist at Rickenbacker Port Authority from 2001 to 2003. After that, they served as a Communications Coordinator at Columbus Regional Airport Authority from 2003 to 2007. Carrie then became the Community Affairs Director at the City of Canal Winchester from 2007 to 2011. Their most recent position was at VEIC, where they worked as the Public Affairs and Communications Manager from 2011 to 2013, and then progressed to the role of Director of Marketing, Communications, and Public Affairs.

Carrie Hoover attended Ohio University from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing and International Business. In 2022, they earned additional certifications, including the Certified Digital Marketing Professional (CDMP) from the Digital Marketing Institute and the Professional Certified Marketer (PCM) in Digital Marketing from the American Marketing Association.
