Denise Leopoldino (she-her)

Denise Leopoldino, SHRM-SCP (she-her), has a diverse work experience spanning a variety of industries and roles. Their most recent position was as the Home Care HR Lead for North America at Unilever starting in 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Equity, People & Culture at Vermont Foodbank starting in 2021.

From 2016 to 2020, Denise worked at Cox Automotive Inc., where they held multiple roles including Director of Workforce Vitality and Director of Culture, Global People Strategies. During their time at Cox Automotive, they implemented diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing practices and strategies and made significant impacts such as saving $300K in the first year and reducing regrettable turnover by 10%. Denise also played a key role in supporting workplace gender and inclusion initiatives.

From 2003 to 2015, Denise worked at The Walt Disney Company, ESPN, where they held various positions including Associate Director of Diversity, Inclusion & Wellness and Associate Director of Work/Life. In these roles, they developed and executed strategies and learning programs focused on diversity, inclusion, and wellness.

Denise also has experience as the owner and performance coach at Wellness in Progress, LLC from 1999 to 2003, as well as serving as the Director of Corporate Fitness at Executive Risk/Chubb Insurance from 1994 to 1999.

Denise Leopoldino, SHRM-SCP (she-her) obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science - Health Promotion from Keene State College, where they studied from 1990 to 1994. In addition to their undergraduate degree, Denise has pursued further education and certifications to enhance their professional knowledge and skills.

Denise obtained a Diversity and Inclusion for HR Certificate from Cornell University in April 2019. Denise also completed "Developing a Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Program" and "Difficult Conversations: Talking about Race at Work" certifications from LinkedIn in December 2020.

Furthermore, Denise obtained the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) in February 2020.
