Michelle Wallace has a diverse work experience spanning from 2000 to the present. Their most recent position is as the Director of Community Health and Fresh Food Initiatives at the Vermont Foodbank, where they are responsible for overseeing and evaluating various programs aimed at promoting community food security and health. In 2017, they also worked as an artist, creating art inspired by the natural beauty of Vermont. Prior to that, Michelle worked as the Communications and Marketing Manager at the Association for the Advancement of Restorative Medicine (AARM) & Restorative Formulations, where they successfully implemented re-branding initiatives and increased membership and product sales. From 2004 to 2009, they served as the Director of Program Services at the March of Dimes, leading educational programs and public awareness campaigns. Michelle also has experience in childhood hunger prevention and nutrition education, having worked as the Project Director at Food Works and as an Outreach Professional at the University of Vermont. Additionally, they have held leadership positions at KidWatch, a non-profit after school program.
Michelle Wallace attended the University of California, Berkeley from 1995 to 2000. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and Education.
