Joe Damiata

Joe Damiata serves as the Director of Risk Management Services at the Vermont League of Cities and Towns since June 2007, overseeing the operations of a municipal risk insurance pool and unemployment insurance program for Vermont municipalities. Responsibilities include the administration of two insurance trusts, daily operations, board of director relations, and regulatory compliance. Prior roles include Interim Director and Manager of Underwriting, Safety, and Health Promotion at the same organization, and Occupational Safety Facilitator at Ben & Jerry's from March 2005 to June 2007. Joe Damiata holds a Bachelor's degree in Safety Studies from Keene State College, obtained between 1998 and 2002.
