Brittany Patterson

Brittany Patterson serves as the Executive Editor at Vermont Public since December 2020, leading newsroom operations and managing editorial activities. Previously, Brittany held the role of Deputy Managing Editor of News, overseeing a team of reporters and producing the afternoon news program, All Things Considered. Brittany also contributes as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Vermont, teaching audio journalism. Prior experience includes reporting on energy and environmental issues at West Virginia Public Broadcasting and E&E News, focusing on climate policy. With a Master's degree in Journalism from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BS in Journalism from San Jose State University, Brittany has extensive experience in various reporting and editorial roles, having worked at multiple respected media organizations.
