Melissa Abou Haidar has been working in various fields since 2019. Melissa started their career as an Environmental Engineer at Dar Al-Handasah (Shair and Partners) in 2019. In 2020, they worked as an English Language Teacher at College Notre Dame De Louaizé (CNDL) and as a Copyeditor/Copywriter. In 2021, they were a Marketing Manager at Verofax and in 2022 they worked as a Junior Project Manager at Greener Crop. Currently, they are a Technology Consultant at Verofax.

Melissa Abou Haidar has a diverse educational background. Melissa obtained their High School Diploma from Jesus and Mary School in 2015. Melissa then obtained a Diplome in Agricultural Engineering from Holy Spirit University of Kaslik - USEK in 2020. In 2017, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts - BA in English Language and Literature/Letters from the Lebanese University. Melissa also has several additional certifications, such as The use of Microbiology in Agriculture as a new challenge to increase Crop Production (workshop) from MSBiotec®, Land and Agriculture Reality, Solutions and Prospects (Workshop) from the Ministry of agriculture Lebanon, Climate Change Coping Strategies for Sustainable Development in Land Use & Water Resource Management from DAAD German Academic Exchange Service, and Certificate of attendance “Vaccination Technologies and Failures” from Merial. Melissa is currently pursuing a Master of Arts - MA in Teaching Diploma from the Lebanese University which they are expected to complete in 2023.
