Lindsay Hollingsworth

As a Program Officer for Communications, Lindsay provides support to a broad range of communications activities, including website and social media management, newsletter and update mailings, and many other tasks.

Lindsay has a M.S. in Biodiversity & Conservation from Trinity College, Dublin, where she participated in field studies across Ireland and South Africa and wrote a thesis focused on agroecology, novel ecosystems, and nature-based solutions. She also has a B.A. in English from St. Mary’s College of Maryland, where her studies focused on science and nature writing. Before joining Verra, Lindsay worked as a field biologist for an environmental consulting company, conducting migratory bird evaluations, endangered species assessments, and environmental assessments. She has also worked for the local Potomac Conservancy as a part of the development team, and as a nature educator for the Audubon Naturalist Society.

Lindsay grew up in North Carolina, but now resides in northern Virginia
