Cesar Ignacio Jimenez Gonzalez

Cesar Ignacio Jimenez Gonzalez has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Cesar Ignacio began their career at Telefónica Movistar Colombia in 2000, where they held various roles such as Services and Networking Specialist and Services and Consulting Product Leader. During this time, they gained expertise in internetworking support, architecture, and consulting. From 2008 to 2010, they worked at Cibercall Colombia as a Presales Leader, providing support and advice on designing solutions with Cisco technology.

In 2010, Cesar joined Grupo Oesia as a Technical Coordinator TIWS for Telefonica International Wholesale Services. Their responsibilities included supporting Level II provision for American and Pacific regions, resolving issues related to IP/MPLS services powered by Cisco and Juniper, and providing training on BGP, MPLS, and QoS to provision managers.

In 2012, Cesar joined Juniper Networks as a System Engineer II, primarily focusing on pre-sales technical support. Cesar Ignacio collaborated with vendors, partners, and sales to develop and implement complex products and solutions. Cesar Ignacio used their in-depth industry and product knowledge to offer technical expertise through sales presentations and product demonstrations. Cesar Ignacio stayed with Juniper Networks until 2018.

Since 2018, Cesar has been working at Versa Networks, where they started as a Solutions Architect before being promoted to the role of Systems Engineer Manager LATAM in April 2020. In their current position, they are responsible for leading a team and managing various system engineering activities in the Latin American region.

Throughout their career, Cesar has demonstrated their strong technical skills, industry knowledge, and ability to provide effective solutions to clients.

Cesar Ignacio Jimenez Gonzalez has a degree in Systems Engineering from Fundación Universitaria San Martín. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications. In 2011, they obtained the Juniper Networks Certified Professional, Service Provider Routing & Switching (JNCIP-SP) certification from Juniper Networks. In 2017, they obtained three certifications: Juniper Networks Certified Design Specialist, Data Center (JNCDS-DC), Juniper Networks Certified Specialist, Enterprise Routing & Switching (JNCIS-ENT), and Versa Certified Secure SD-WAN Administrator. Furthermore, in 2018, they obtained the certifications of Python for Everybody Specialization, Using Databases with Python, Using Python to Access Web Data, and Capstone: Retrieving, Processing, and Visualizing Data with Python from Coursera.
