Dinesh Kumar

Dinesh Kumar has a diverse range of work experience in the field of networking. Dinesh started their career as an Associate at Sify Technologies Limited, where they were responsible for coordinating with field engineers, managing a network of Cisco routers, and preparing configuration templates for customer configurations. From there, they progressed to the role of Network Engineer in the Global Network Operations Center, implementing and supporting IP-based routing configurations for corporate clients across India and extending support to international partners. As they gained more experience, they were promoted to the position of Senior Network Engineer, where they provided technical solutions, implemented new requirements, and worked closely with solution engineers to design and implement internet/MPLS WAN, VPN, and SD-WAN solutions. In 2018, Dinesh joined Hitachi Systems Micro Clinic as a Technical Engineer, specializing in consulting, architecting, and implementing data center, network security, SDN, and SD-WAN solutions. Currently, they are working as a System Engineer at Versa Networks.

Dinesh Kumar completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) from Sudharsan Engineering College, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the following: Versa Certified Administrator - SD-WAN Specialist from Versa Networks in 2020, Versa Certified SD-WAN Associate from Versa Networks in 2021, CloudGuard IaaS Specialist – Public Cloud Administrator from Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd. in January 2019. Dinesh also holds certifications from Cisco, including Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing & Switching, Cisco Certified Network Professional Routing, and Cisco Certified Network Professional Switching. However, the dates of completion for these Cisco certifications are not provided.
