Joseph Duarte

Joseph Duarte has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Joseph currently works at Versa Networks as a Sr. Director of Enterprise Sales since May 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Enterprise Sales at Versa Networks from September 2016 to May 2021.

Before joining Versa Networks, Joseph worked at Cisco, where they served as a Sales Executive, focusing on Cloud and Data Center solutions from August 2013 to September 2016. Joseph also held the role of Sr. Manager of Systems Engineering at Cisco from May 2005 to August 2013.

Joseph's work experience also includes positions at Riverstone Networks, Inc and Cabletron Systems Inc. At Riverstone Networks, they served as the VP of Systems Engineering from September 2002 to September 2004, and as Director of Corporate Systems Engineering from March 2000 to August 2002. At Cabletron Systems Inc, they worked as a Sr. Corporate Systems Engineer from August 1996 to September 2000.

Joseph began their career in the United States Marine Corps (USMC) as a Staff Sergeant. During their tenure from September 1986 to August 1996, they played a key role in designing and implementing networks for Marine Corps installations, including the first FDDI backbone and one of the first all Ethernet Marine Corps campus networks.
