Nishitha Viswanathan has a diverse background in business, dance, and research. Nishitha has been working in the professional world since 2001. In 2011, they began working as a Student Research Assistant at UCLA, where they were responsible for standard protocols such as running gel electrophoreses, making buffers, purifying proteins, and preparing crystal trays. In 2013, they co-founded Dhadkan, a 501(c)(3) initiative with 120+ members and alumni, and collaborated with high-profile South Asian artists to host large-scale events to fund philanthropic efforts. In 2016, they became an Endurance Athlete and Fundraising Coordinator for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, where they trained for marathons and led philanthropic outreach. Nishitha raised thousands of dollars per race to sponsor research and services for blood cancer patients. In 2017, they worked as a Clinical Research Assistant at Cedars-Sinai's Barbra Streisand Women's Heart Center, where they were the 2nd author on an NIH-sponsored study. In 2018, they worked as a Hospital Success Manager at Stasis Labs, where they helped secure the first hospital for US market launch and built a sales pipeline. In 2019, they worked as an Enterprise Business Development at TigerConnect, where they led B2B SaaS Biz Dev efforts for enterprise health systems and won a 3-year contract for 100K+ users and $6.7 million ARR. Currently, they are the Co-Founder of Versai, an all-in-one system that allows creators to manage clients and host premium experiences.

Nishitha Viswanathan earned their Bachelor's degree from UC Santa Barbara in 2016 and also participated in the UCSB Travel-Study Program at Università di Napoli L'Orientale in the same year.
