Alex Edlund has an extensive background in digital marketing and customer acquisition. Alex currently holds the position of Vice President, Customer Acquisition at Versapay, a role they have held since February 2022. Prior to that, they were the Senior Director Revenue Marketing at ActiveCampaign from July 2021 to February 2022. From June 2019 to June 2021, they served as the Head of Demand Generation at Keap. Before joining Keap, Alex worked at Choice Hotels International as the Director Digital Customer Acquisition from April 2016 to June 2019. Alex also held the position of Director Global Search Marketing at Marriott International from August 2014 to April 2016. Alex began their career at Caesars Entertainment Corporation, where they served as the Director of Search & Affiliate Marketing from June 2013 to August 2014, and previously as the Manager of Search & Affiliate Marketing from February 2012 to June 2013. Prior to that, they founded their own consulting firm, Alexander Edlund Consulting, where they worked as a Principal Consultant from December 2011 to June 2013. Alex started their career as an Internet Marketing Manager at Vegas.com from January 2009 to February 2012 and as a Public Relations Intern at AxiCom from June 2007 to July 2008. Throughout their career, Alex has specialized in digital marketing strategies, including search engine optimization, paid search, affiliate marketing, social media optimization, conversion rate optimization, and resource management.

Alex Edlund attended Uppsala University from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business Science. In 2006, they also briefly studied Marketing & Sales Management at Dublin Business School.
