Mark Gerard

Mark Gerard is an experienced software engineer with a progressive career spanning over a decade. Currently the Lead Engineer at Versent since January 2022, Mark previously held roles as Lead Consultant at ThoughtWorks and Principal Engineer at Andela, where collaboration with clients to design technological solutions was a key focus. A Technical Team Lead and Senior Software Engineer at ClinCapture, Mark contributed significantly to the development of the Captivate EDC platform. Earlier experience includes software engineering roles at Zegeba, along with contributions to the OpenXData platform at the University of Bergen, where Mark earned a Master of Philosophy in International Health with a specialization in Health Informatics.
