Principal Solutions Architect at Verses

Venkatesh Venkataramanujam, Ph.D. has a wealth of experience in the field of robotics and automation. Venkatesh began their career in 2003 as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Fitwell Construction Company Mumbai, India. In the same year, they also worked as a Design Engineer at Uma Engineering. In 2004, they were a Research Assistant at Clarkson University. From 2005 to 2007, they were a Research Assistant at the Florida Institute of Technology, where their Masters research resulted in novel methodologies for synthesis of planar and spherical mechanisms. In 2014, they became a CAE Engineer at Ford Motor Company. From 2016 to 2018, they worked at Amazon Robotics as a Senior Design Engineer and Solutions Design Engineer. Venkatesh then moved to SoftBank Robotics America as a Senior Engineer (Robotics and Automation). In 2020, they joined Berkshire Grey as a Principal Product Manager (Robotics & Automation Solutions) and Principal Solutions Architect (Robotics and Automation Solutions). Theircurrent role is Principal Solutions Architect at VERSES, which they began in 2022.

Venkatesh Venkataramanujam, Ph.D. received their Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mumbai in 2002. Venkatesh then transferred to Clarkson University where they earned their Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering in 2004. Venkatesh continued their education at the Florida Institute of Technology, earning their Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2007, followed by their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering (Kinematics, Dynamic Systems and Controls - Robotics) in 2014.
