Chris Li has extensive experience in the technology and chemical industries. Chris began their career at Formosa Plastics Corporation, where they worked as a Technical Engineering Staff from 1999 to 2002, focusing on reactor TPOs development and process rationalization. Chris then joined General Electric International Inc., Taiwan as a Manager in Marketing and Application Development from 2003 to 2006, where they successfully steered the business towards more profitable sectors. Li then moved to Dow Chemical Taiwan Limited, where they held various roles, including Lead CMP Pad Development and Sr. Development Scientist, from 2006 to 2013. Chris played a key role in developing new products, coordinating customer-facing efforts, and driving market development. Since 2015, Li has been working at Versum Materials technology, a subsidiary of Merck. Chris started as a Technology Manager, supporting strategic accounts and providing technical leadership. In 2020, they transitioned to the role of Technology Director, focusing on providing strategic leadership and developing technical relationships with key customers in Asia. Li has a track record of successful product commercialization and cross-functional collaboration.
Chris Li received their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in the Material Science Program from Texas A&M University, where they studied from 1994 to 1999.
