Reyes Barrado Sánchez has a strong background in the biofuel industry, with a focus on ethanol sales and contract execution. In their role as an Ethanol Sales and Contracts Execution Manager at Vertex Bioenergy, they were responsible for planning and coordinating the transport and distribution of bioethanol production from multiple facilities. They also managed contracts and deliveries to top petrol companies, troubleshooting any issues that arose and providing support to traders in decision making. Prior to this, at Abengoa (Ecoagricola SA), they held a similar position where they ensured the execution of trading deals and contracts for bioethanol and biodiesel production. They negotiated contract conditions with customers, freight brokers, storage terminals, and inspection companies to optimize costs. Following this, they pursued further education at the same university from 2006 to 2009, earning a degree in Industrial Chemistry as an Industrial Technical Engineer.
