Ashley Wallace

Ashley Wallace, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, RN, has extensive experience in the field of human resources, particularly in organizational effectiveness and HR management. Ashley currently holds the role of VP of HR & Organizational Effectiveness at Vertex Energy Inc., a position they have held since May 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Manager, People & Organization, U.S. at Aker Solutions from June 2022 to April 2023. Ashley's career also includes a long tenure at Kenan Advantage Group, where they held various leadership roles. From June 2018 to December 2021, they served as the Vice President Of Recruiting and Human Resources, overseeing organizational effectiveness and collaborating with executive leaders on company initiatives. Before that, Ashley was the Director of Human Resources for Field Operations from March 2015 to June 2018, responsible for managing the HR function for approximately 8,000 field employees across US divisions. Ashley also held the role of Human Resources Manager at Kenan Advantage Group from October 2006 to March 2015, where they provided guidance on HR issues and managed all HR functions within the business unit. Ashley's expertise encompasses areas such as policy development, compliance, employee relations, compensation planning, and training and development.

Ashley Wallace, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, RN completed their Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resource Management from the University of South Alabama in 1998. Ashley then pursued a BS in Nursing with a specialization in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from The University of Southern Mississippi, which they completed in 2006.
