Ashish Saksule

Ashish Saksule is an experienced biotechnology professional currently serving as Associate Director and Principal Scientist, Cell & Gene Therapy Core Lead at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since February 2022. Saksule has previously held leadership roles in viral vector development at Takeda and has extensive experience in gene therapy bioprocessing at MilliporeSigma. Prior to these positions, Saksule contributed to process development at Miltenyi Biotec and gained initial industry exposure as a Downstream Process Development Intern at Novavax. Academic qualifications include a Master’s in Biotechnology and a Graduate Certificate in Biotechnology Management from Harvard University, a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from North Maharashtra University.
