Junpeng Yan

Junpeng Yan is a Senior Scientist at Vertex Pharmaceuticals with expertise in stability and assay development. Previously worked at Johnson & Johnson as a Scientist focusing on viral safety and lentivirus assays for Carvykti Car-T cell therapy. Also worked at Abeona Therapeutics on AAV vector construction and optimization for preclinical purposes. Prior to industry roles, served as a Senior Research Investigator at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, publishing papers on HIV Vpr interactions and supervising junior researchers. Completed a PhD in Virology from Wuhan University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Inner Mongolia University.
