Qianyi Yang

Qianyi Yang is a Senior Research Scientist at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, focusing on genetic solutions for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy since November 2022. Previously, Qianyi worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Virginia, investigating cardiometabolic disease causes from November 2018 to November 2022. Qianyi also served as a Consultant for The BALSA Group and held a Postdoctoral Research Associate position at Washington University School of Medicine, where the molecular mechanisms of various types of itch were studied. Prior experience includes a Research Scientist role at Purdue University examining angiogenesis, along with positions as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at the same institution, leading significant research initiatives and educational responsibilities. Qianyi holds a PhD in Biochemistry from Purdue University and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Northwest A&F University.
