Rebecca Hunt

Rebecca Hunt is an experienced executive in the fields of communications, government affairs, and patient and community engagement, currently serving as Vice President at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since July 2016. Prior to this role, Rebecca held key positions at GSK, including VP Corporate Affairs, International, and Head of Communications & Government Affairs Strategy, where responsibilities included developing global strategies and improving internal capabilities. Experience at ViiV Healthcare as Global Head of Communications contributed to advancements in HIV communications and advocacy, while earlier roles at Porter Novelli, Roche Products Limited, and Ketchum established a strong foundation in healthcare communications and public relations. Educational background includes advanced degrees in Classics from King's College London and the University of Cambridge, as well as studies at the University of Southern California.
