Will Walton

Will Walton is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in procurement and strategic sourcing within the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Strategic Sourcing at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since September 2019, Will leads international procurement initiatives for indirect categories. Previously, Will held various roles at Takeda Pharmaceuticals, including Procurement Partner for the UK & Ireland, where responsibilities encompassed oversight of significant indirect spend across multiple categories and efforts in clinical outsourcing. Will’s career also includes managerial positions at Covance, focusing on global client services and budget development, as well as earlier roles at ExxonMobil in fuels marketing and customer services. Will holds an MBA in International Business Management and a BA (Hons) in History from the University of Portsmouth.
