Yong Chun Chong

Yong Chun Chong has a diverse work experience in the field of science and investment. Yong Chun started their career at the Singapore Bioimaging Consortium, where they progressed from a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to a Senior Postdoctoral Research Fellow and eventually a Research Scientist. Yong Chun then moved on to A*STAR as an Assistant Head in the Biomedical Research Council before taking on a role as Director of Investment at Vertex Ventures in 2021.

Yong Chun Chong completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from the University of Chicago in 2006. From 2007 to 2014, Yong Chun Chong pursued a Doctor of Philosophy in Oncology and Cancer Biology from Stanford University School of Medicine.
