Antonio Badaya González has extensive work experience in the field of networking and security. Antonio started their career in 1987 as a Networking Specialist at Telefonica, where they worked until 1988. Antonio then joined BBVA as a Networking Specialist for a brief period from 1988 to 1989. In 1989, they joined MAPFRE and served as a Senior Networking Designer, Manager, and responsible for the Global Communications Network until 2016. During their time at MAPFRE, they were involved in significant projects such as the transfer of local data centers in America and the design and implementation of connection solutions between Madrid and Sao Paulo buildings. Since 2016, Antonio has been working at Verti as the Chief Security Officer at MAPFRE's companies in Germany. In this role, they have been responsible for various tasks such as adapting processes to GDPR, developing business continuity processes according to ISO 22301, and implementing environmental management processes according to ISO 14001 and ISO 14064 standards.
Antonio Badaya González completed their Bachelor of Physics degree with a focus on Engineering Physics/Applied Physics at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid from 1979 to 1984. Afterward, they pursued a Master's degree in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics at the same institution from 1984 to 1987.
