Matt Willhite

Matt Willhite is a Lead Engineer at VerticalChange. Matt has been with the company since July 2015 and has played a pivotal role in developing several of the company's core product features. Willhite is responsible for feature planning, from initial requirements to UI/UX to implementation. Matt has also planned and implemented significant refactors/rewrites to core services and architecture. In addition, they collaborate with clients to gather requirements, sprint planning with demo/review, debug evasive issues, and assist in comprehensive analysis to assure data integrity.

Prior to joining VerticalChange, Willhite was a Ruby Engineer at Simple Finance from September 2012 to January 2013. Before that, they were a Web Developer at Instrument from March 2012 to September 2012. Their career began as a Web Developer / Designer at Manifest Web Design from June 2009 to January 2010.

Matt Willhite has a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from Portland State University.

They work with Mariya Mego Vela - Frontend Engineer, Johnny Martinez-Nolasco - Infrastructure Engineer, and Brandon Jahner - Lead Engineer. Matt Willhite reports to Dylan Stamat, Co-Founder & CTO.
