Ron Lewis has a vast and extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Starting with SCI Systems in 1981 as a Programmer, they then moved on to Universal Data Systems/Motorola, where they served as a Principal Engineer and played a pivotal role in numerous projects, including protocol modems and ISDN Terminal Adapters. At Digi International, they continued their career as a Principal Engineer, specializing in developing generations of ISDN-related Terminal Adapters and SDSL TCP/IP routers. Ron then joined Rockwell Semiconductor as a Principal Engineer before moving to Conexant, where they designed and implemented the interface between DSP code and operating systems for a controllerless ADSL data pump. With GE Intelligent Platforms, they served as a Senior Software Manager, overseeing the development of embedded software and managing a team of engineers across multiple locations. Ron later joined Abaco Systems as a Principal Engineer, responsible for providing technical governance and leading initiatives for the local site. Currently, they are working at Vertiv Co as a Principal Software Engineer, leading the design of the Renaissance architecture for the company's next-generation KVM and providing technical leadership and guidance to the team. Throughout their career, Ron has been involved in various software development projects, exhibited technical expertise, and demonstrated leadership skills.

Ron Lewis attended The University of Alabama from 1977 to 1981, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
