James Lorello is the Dean of Students at Verto Education. Prior to their current position, they were a Co-Founder of James & Jim Consulting from June 2021 to March 2022. James was also an Adjunct Professor at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from January 2019 to March 2022, where they taught COMM 3050 Male Privilege and Masculinity in Fraternity Life. In addition, Lorello served as Co-Chair Men and Masculinities KC at NASPA - Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education from March 2014 to December 2017. Lastly, they were a Hall Director at Georgetown University from June 2011 to July 2012, where they were responsible for overseeing a hall of 400 students.
James Lorello has a Doctor of Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in Educational Leadership and Cultural Foundations. James also has a MA from Appalachian State University in College Student Development and a BA from the University of South Florida in Religious Studies.
